Fully custom cabinetry locally manufactured in our South Salt Lake production facility.
Millcreek Cabinet & Design is centrally located in Salt Lake City at 3447 South Main Street. This facility houses our production floor, where everything is custom built with high quality hardwoods, hardware, and finishes. Our showroom is also at this location, and anyone (contractors, designers, homeowners, etc.) is invited to come see the quality of our product and meet with our designers to discuss projects and begin the process. Appointments are strongly recommended, but not required. Our superior custom cabinetry and exceptional customer service provide for an enjoyable experience in an otherwise stressful time, and an exquisite project outcome that will last for years, if not decades, to come.

Cabinets made for residential projects ranging from large estate new builds to small home remodels (minimum order required)
Our production facility is in a constant state of manufacturing. We construct projects in many sizes, styles, and price ranges, from bathroom vanities to full kitchens and more. However, due to the nature of our shop and the schedule we must maintain, we do have minimum order requirements. Please speak to an associate for details. We work on small home remodels to large estate new builds and everything in between. There is a good chance that if you have seen it or dreamt it, we can build it.

Local showroom open to the public with or without an appointment. Cabinets built in the frameless, European style. We do not manufacture face-frame (inset) and/or framed cabinetry.
Our showroom is not excessively large. Its main purpose is to showcase the construction and installation quality you can expect with our product. In our showroom you will be able to see our door/panel styles, hardware options, and in-house colors. We specialize in the frameless, European style of cabinetry. This style of cabinetry allows for the storage of larger items (since there are no frames to contend with), more usable space, and easier access to the inside of the cabinet. We do not manufacture or install inset, or face frame cabinets.

Exterior doors, panels and faces are real hardwood, hardwood veneer and/or MDF. Many species of hardwoods are available.
Real hardwood is the standard for our doors, drawer fronts and panels – whether it be maple (for painted cabinets), alder, cherry, oak, walnut, or the variety of other species we source. These hardwoods are available in different cuts (rift sawn, quarter sawn, etc.) and in either clear (without knots) or knotty options. Some door styles utilize an MDF (medium density fiberboard) for the center panel. This has become an industry norm because MDF center panels are more resistant to changes in temperature and humidity. The slab door style also utilizes an MDF core with a hardwood veneer for the same environmental reasons. For panelized door and drawer fronts we offer flat and raised panel options with several inside and outside cuts available. You are able to mix and match until you get the exact look you want.

Interior cabinet boxes are 3/4“ thermofused melamine and drawer boxes are 5/8“ plywood dovetail construction.
The interiors of our cabinets are equally durable and customizable. Our standard box is made of a 3/4” thermally fused melamine. This product has excellent scratch and wear resistance with less tendency to warp, contract or expand when exposed to moisture or heat than other interior cabinet products. For drawer boxes, our standard is a 5/8” maple or birch plywood dovetail box. Dovetail joinery is a benchmark of high-quality construction and results in an extremely durable product. However, if you are on a budget, the thermally fused melamine is an equally durable product that can be used in drawer boxes. While the color of the plywood dovetail boxes is relegated to the color of the plywood used in the box production, the thermally fused melamine comes in a variety of colors. White is a classic option and our initial quote includes white unless specified otherwise. Maple melamine is a popular faux wood interior look that goes well with stained wood exteriors. Apart from white and maple colored, there are other options like gray, black, etc. While others may set limits for your cabinet project, Millcreek Cabinet & Design helps you realize your vision.

Interior hardware is concealed Blum soft close hinges and drawer glides (subject to availability). Exterior hardware samples can be seen in our showroom and are available from several sources such as Top Knobs, Emtek, Amerock, Berenson, Atlas and more.
For the interior hardware of our cabinets, we use concealed Blum soft close hinges and drawer guides (subject to availability). Blum is the world’s leading manufacturer of hardware for high-quality cabinetry. For exterior hardware, we partner with several providers and include an allowance for hardware in your quote. We have display boards in our showroom, so you can see and feel the quality of the exterior hardware that will adorn your custom cabinetry. You can also find links to these providers on Our Partners page to browse at your convenience. Please note, we do not drill for or install externally supplied hardware. If you do not see the hardware you are looking for on our showroom displays, please speak with our designers as we have additional resources. When it comes to quality and customization, there are no sacrifices with Millcreek Cabinet & Design.

In-house and custom colors/stains are created using a tinted/pigmented conversion varnish that is durable and long-lasting.
The finishes on our cabinetry are not your common wall paint or deck stain. We use a tinted/pigmented conversion varnish that is long-lasting, easy to clean, and resistant to moisture, damage from household chemicals, marring and yellowing. The other great advantage of a conversion varnish is the ability to match just about any paint or stain color. While we have an extensive library of in-house colors for you to choose from, in most instances we are able to match virtually any color or stain presented. We provide small samples of finished wood – either of an in-house color or a matched color – for you to see in your home and with your other design elements. Please note, the samples are provided as a guide and it is the nature of hardwood to have a variety of colors and grain textures. Because of the variation in woods, an exact match may not be possible. However, we will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied with the end results.

The final touch on our incomparable cabinetry is the meticulous installation by our seasoned, professional installers.
Whether it be cabinetry for all the rooms of your new home build, or for a remodel of a kitchen, a bathroom, or a great room, or even if you just want to add cabinets to a mud room, laundry room, closet or any other specialty project, our team will work with you from the beginning of your project including answering the very common “Where do I start” questions, to providing a quote, and perfecting your design plans all the way through until final installation, including touch-ups and adjustments. Check out Our Portfolio for other ideas, including mantels, floating shelves, hidden doors and hidden bookcase doors, gun rooms, offices, libraries, wet/dry bars, game rooms and so much more. You may even consider adding more to your current project. We look forward to working with you and helping you create the spaces that take it from a house to your home. Please reach out today!
